Mesotherapy and Endermologie
Where did Mesotherapy originate?
Mesotherapy was invented in 1952 by French physician Dr. Michel Pistor. It has been widely used in Europe and South America for the past 6 decades as a treatment for weight loss and body contouring.
What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive treatment which involves injecting specialized combinations of common substances such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids and homeopathic medicines through the skin and into the fat layer. Tiny needles are used to target specific problem areas like bra bulges, love handles and saddle bags, as well as stubborn fat pockets found under the chin and around the abdomen and knees. Mesotherapy can also break down cellulite to smooth and tone any offending body area. Mesotherapy can also be administered in combination with any other non-surgical skin treatment and does not require any anesthesia since it is virtually painless.
Is there any downtime with Mesotherapy?
There is no downtime with mesotherapy, you can resume your normal activities immediately after treatment. Depending upon your goals and problem areas, the number of treatments varies with each individual.
How many treatments does it take?
Most people find they can achieve their results after 6 to 10 bi-weekly treatments.
What is Endermologie?
Endermologie is the first medical device to receive FDA approval for reducing the circumference of the hips, buttocks and thighs. This intense, deep tissue massage increases circulation to body tissues by over 400%, increasing cellular metabolism to improve cellulite and cause fat cells to shrink .
